Cherry Blues Steak Pizza
1- 12-inch Pre-baked pizza crust
1/2 cup Dried tart cherries
Butter
1 1/2 cups Onion, sliced thin
2 1/2 cups Baby portobello mushrooms, sliced thin
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 1/2 cups Beef (any tender cut), cooked medium-rare and sliced thin
1 1/2 cups Blue cheese, crumbled
Sauté onions in butter until caramelized; let cool.
Sauté portobello mushrooms in butter until tender; let cool.
Brush olive oil evenly over pre-baked pizza crust. Spread onions and mushrooms over pizza crust. Arrange slices of beef and cherries over onions and mushrooms. Sprinkle blue cheese over all.
Bake at 450°F in a standard oven 7 to 9 minutes, or until cheese has melted. Serve as an appetizer or main course.
Cherry Chicken Pizza
1 12-inch Pre-baked pizza crust
1/2 cup (3 ounces) Dried Tart Cherries
Butter
1 1/2 cups Leeks, sliced thin
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 1/2 cups Skinless, boneless chicken breast, cooked and chopped
3/4 cup Walnuts, toasted
3/4 cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
3/4 cup Smoked Gouda cheese, grated
Sauté leeks in butter until wilted.
Brush olive oil evenly over pre-baked crust. Spread leeks over pizza crust. Arrange cherries, chicken and walnuts over leeks. Sprinkle mozzarella and Gouda over all.
Bake at 450°F in a standard oven 7 to 9 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Serve as an appetizer or main course.
Popeye's Pork and Cherry Pizza
1 (12-inch) Pre-baked pizza crust
1/2 cup Dried tart cherries
Butter
1 1/2 cups Onions, sliced thin
packed 1 quart (8 ounces) Fresh spinach, stems removed
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 1/2 cups Pork tenderloin, cooked and sliced thin
1 cup Mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 cup Bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 tablespoon Scallion, chopped
Sauté onions in butter until caramelized; let cool.
Sauté spinach in butter until wilted; squeeze out extra liquid; let cool.
Brush olive oil evenly over pre-baked pizza crust. Spread onions and spinach over pizza crust. Arrange cherries and slices of pork over onions and spinach. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over all.
Bake at 450° F in a standard oven 7 to 9 minutes, or until cheese melts. Garnish with bacon and scallion before serving. Serve as an appetizer or main course.
